Peer Leader Program

The Retention Management & Planning Office supports a group of sixteen peer leaders who have the unique opportunity to engage specifically with students in their colleges through one-on-one engagement, promotion of academic and personal resources, and providing a sense of belonging.

Peer leaders serve as resources to help second-year and transfer students achieve academic, professional, and personal success while at Texas State. By participating in campus outreach, sending students weekly updates, and planning their own events, peer leaders help students to set goals, learn about campus resources, and make connections with other students, faculty, and staff across campus.
