Bobcat Bond: Your Connection to Success

The Bobcat Bond Program was established in Fall 2012. Formerly known as the Mentoring Program, the program provides an opportunity for second year students and beyond to learn from faculty, staff, and student mentors who serve as coaches, role models, advisors, guides and referral agents. Research shows that students who receive mentoring are more likely to stay in college and graduate.

Your mentor can help you set goals, refer you to campus resources you might not otherwise hear about, and introduce you to people on campus. You and your mentor will meet and can attend university events together if you so choose. You will be invited to activities hosted by the Bobcat Bond Program.

We at Bobcat Bond believe that mentors truly do contribute to the success of students and we encourage all students to seek out a mentor.

"We must open the doors opportunity. But we must also equip our people to walk through those doors."

- Lyndon B. Johnson
