PAWS Alert - Information for Students
When a PAWS Alert referral is submitted for you, please know that the referral is not a punishment. A PAWS Alert referral demonstrates that a Texas State faculty or staff member cares about you and wants to connect you with resources that can help you to be a successful Bobcat.
Below is a list of great resources to help you cope with challenges through the semester. Please also know that at anytime during the semester, you are more than welcomed to contact our office for a one-on-one meeting with a retention specialist. We are here for you and want to help guide you to success.

The PAWS Alert initiative is a way for faculty and staff to refer students who are experiencing academic, personal, or transitional challenges for additional help.
