When a PAWS Alert referral is submitted for you, please know that the referral is not a punishment. A PAWS Alert referral demonstrates that a Texas State faculty or staff member cares about you and wants to connect you with resources that can help you to be a successful Bobcat.

The PAWS Alert initiative is a way for faculty and staff to refer students who are experiencing academic, personal, or transitional challenges for additional help. Please take your PAWS Alert seriously and respond to the staff and/or faculty member who has contacted you. We are here to help you to succeed.
